As the year wraps up, we’re taking a moment to appreciate everything we’ve accomplished together.

It’s hard to believe that the Range, established in 2022 by CHF Canada and Housing Alternatives for the creation of a 184-unit sector-led housing co-operative, is already three years old! We’re proud of all we’ve accomplished in this short span of time.

This year, we got to celebrate the completion of our Visart Street units. Members moved in as of June 1st, and on September 8th, we held an official Grand Opening for the entire community, with over 100 community members, partners, and supporters to mark this exciting milestone. 

We also completed energy upgrades focused on improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact through insulation enhancements, oil tank removals, and the installation of new central heat pump systems.

While working hard on these projects, we also attended the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada’s 2025 Annual Meeting and the New Brunswick Non-Profit Housing Association (NBNPHA) Conference.

In the coming year, our goal is  to enhance member engagement & co-op participation, increase growth and visibility through strategic community engagement, and work on policy & resource development.

We’re finishing 2025 in a strong position, full of appreciation for our community, and looking forward to 2026. We hope that the end of the year offers you an opportunity for rest, reflection, and time with loved ones, and we can’t wait to see what 2026 will hold.
